CEI is a world-wide leading manufacturer of waterborne wax emulsions. CEI has the manufacturing capability to produce High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Paraffin and Polypropylene (PP) emulsions. These emulsions are manufactured as nonionic, anionic, and cationic emulsions and serve multiple industries, including the textiles, graphic arts and inks, paints, concrete, metal, and floor finishing industries. Our emulsions help to improve the rub resistance, weatherproofing, anti-abrasion and gloss characteristics in formulations in these industries. Classifications of Emulsions Non-ionic- CEI emulsions produced using non-ionic emulsifiers are used in multiple coating applications in combination with film-forming polymers where the emulsion particles are mechanically lodged in the polymer lattice. Anionic- CEI anionic emulsions are produced using a fatty acid in combination with an amine. Anionic emulsions are film-forming, especially on foil or metallic surfaces. Cationic- CEI cationic emulsions are compatible with cationic systems, oftentimes favored by the textile industries. |
